Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This page explains exactly what this site uses and why.

The short version: this site does not use advertising cookies, does not use Google Analytics, and does not build profiles of its visitors. The third-party services below are the only external connections made when you browse the site.

Strictly necessary - Netlify hosting

This website is hosted on Netlify. As part of serving pages securely and efficiently, Netlify's CDN infrastructure may set a short-lived technical cookie for load balancing. This cookie contains no personal information, is not used for tracking, and expires when you close your browser.

Netlify also logs the IP addresses of all visitors as standard web server behaviour. See the Netlify privacy policy.

Third-party service - Google Fonts (all pages)

Every page on this site loads display fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). This is not a traditional cookie - no file is stored on your device - but your browser does send your IP address and browser type to Google's servers each time a page loads, as part of requesting the font files.

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Ads, or any other Google product for tracking. The only Google connection is the font request. See Google's privacy policy.

We intend to self-host these fonts in a future update, which will remove this dependency entirely.

Third-party service - Elfsight Instagram widget (homepage only)

The Instagram feed on our homepage is provided by Elfsight. The feed does not load automatically - when you visit the homepage you will be asked whether to load it. If you accept, Elfsight's script loads and may set one or more cookies on your device. If you decline, no Elfsight script is loaded and no cookies are set.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so you are not asked again on future visits. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
